OPINION
None of Celtic’s players can hold their head up high after that performance, but some how, there are some Hoops fans on Twitter who have heralded Jonny Hayes as their “best player” in the 2-0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday. The 31-year-old winger had spells where he looked decent. He put in the hard work and gave Rangers something to think about at times, but overall the quality was lacking. At the end of the day Hayes was the best among a bad bunch. Oliver Ntcham did decent when he came off the bench but overall you have to admit that at least Hayes put in the effort and did deserve to be called Celtic’s best player on Sunday. That’s not something to be proud of though really. It was a torrid display by everyone in green and white and it could also be some of their final Old Firm matches as a Celtic player.
This is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets below:
Celtic are a disgrace. Don’t care if they won the league. To turn up and play like that today is a joke. Only player not strolling about that pitch uninterested is Jonny Hayes

Why is Jonny Hayes the only one who gets pass marks far too often these days? FFS.
