OPINION
Tammy Abraham has been on fire while on loan at Villa Park this season so it is no shock to see that Aston Villa want to sign the forward from Chelsea in the summer transfer window if they are promoted to the Premier League. According to the Telegraph, the West Midlands club will make a £25million move to sign Abraham, 21, if they win the play-offs and understandably, a lot of Villa fans on Twitter are gushing over the idea of having the England international on their books permanently. He has scored 26 goals in 38 appearances for Aston Villa this term, but the issue with signing him in the summer if promotion is achieved is that he is yet to be proven in the Premier League. In 33 top-flight appearances, Abraham has scored just five goals. However he is young and he has improved leaps and bounds while on loan at Villa Park. It might be a risk to spend £25million on the forward, but most big-money transfers these days have an element of risk attached to them. These Villa fans clearly feel it’s a risk worth taking.

In this market, £25million for him is a steal, I was expecting us to have to pay atleast £35+million for him https://t.co/MVzjbxl5Ti
