COMMENTARY
Leeds United drew 1-1 with Aston Villa at Elland Road on Sunday and it was a frustrating day at the office for both sides for different reasons. The way many Aston Villa fans opted to deal with their frustration was by taking to Twitter to rip attacker Jonathan Kodjia apart. Several slammed the 29-year-old as they thought he wasn’t up to scratch. One dubbed his display against the Whites dreadful, while another simply said ugh which was equally as telling. Kodjia missed several clear-cut chances for Dean Smith’s side on Sunday so it was easy to see why he was singled out for criticism. If the forward was more composed in front of goal and clinical, then he probably would have snatched the Villans an impressive victory. Yet that wasn’t the case and all supporters can do now is hope that Kodjia will improve in the matches that remain, especially when it comes to the play-off fixtures.

For how good he is, Jonathan Kodjia is the most frustrating player I’ve ever seen play at Villa. #AVFC
