COMMENTARY
Aston Villa got the win they needed against Millwall as they beat them 1-0, but supporters still had a bone to pick with one member of Dean Smith’s side. This player was none other than Albert Adomah, who many supporters seem to constantly forget was playing. One Villans supporter claimed the winger was a ghost against Millwall, while another questioned whether he was still on the pitch. While that seems harsh, that was actually the nicer feedback on display, as others just opted to destroy him for letting them down. The 31-year-old winger has proven to be inconsistent this season as while he is capable of being a match-winner for his side, sometimes he lets them down by not having any impact on the game. The clash with Millwall on Monday was just one of those days where Adomah had a bad day at the office, and it was no surprise he didn’t last the 90 minutes.

Fair enough. Whelan and Adomah have both looked tired today. #AVFC

Not sure why Adomah started today. Didn't play well last game and looking like a ghost so far this game. Green has much more pace and presence. #AVFC
