COMMENTARY
Aston Villa achieved a narrow 1-0 win over Millwall on Monday and Villans supporters had several reasons to be cheery as a result. The positive result kept the Villans steaming towards the play-offs and while the display wasn’t top-class by their side, it showed they could grind out results. However one Aston Villa player who did make it an enjoyable day for a spectator was Anwar El Ghazi. The 23-year-old winger dazzled against Millwall and it was his cross that was turned home by Jonathan Kodjia. El Ghazi impressed so much so, that one Villans fans was planning life in the Premier League while another claimed it was just another standard day for the winger as his silky skills were enabling him to embarrass some Millwall players on Monday. At times this season El Ghazi has let his side down, however in recent weeks he has stepped up when his side needed him most. Hopefully for the sake of the Villans, the 23-year-old can keep his red-hot form going.
