OPINION
This was Moritz Leitner’s first game for Norwich since he was injured in December, but it safe to say that the fans were not too impressed with his comeback. It is hard not to agree with them, if anything, they probably wished that he had not made his return so soon after this 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday. He was assigned with taking corners all evening, but for some reason, they availed to absolutely nothing in the slightest. It is no wonder that this section of supporters were growing increasingly frustrated with him, as his display was lacklustre, woeful and devoid of any sort of impact. They are on the cusp of being promoted to the Premier League, but if players submit performances like these, they will make an even tougher job of making that happen. However, it was Leitner’s first start in four months, so it is no fair to be so harsh on him.

Not sure Leitner is having the effect we need him to right now

It's great to see Leitner back in the team but surely he should be playing in his strongest position. He's been no more effective as a replacement for Emi than Todd was. McLean much more of a goal threat (as he just showed). #NCFC
