Celtic were extremely disappointing against Hibernian on Sunday and it’s clear things need to change for the clash with Kilmarnock.

The Hoops were uninspiring in their latest outing as in their 0-0 draw with Hibs they rarely looked like getting the win as they just didn’t have enough firepower up front.

While Celtic are still well on course to win the league this season, manager Neil Lennon should be aiming to impress in the games that remain if he wants to be at the club next season.

In order to do this, he needs to deliver results and performances that will get Celtic fans on their feet.

Yet for some reason despite having an exciting attacking duo like Timothy Weah and Oliver Burke to call upon, Lennon tends to snub them more often then not.

The attacking pair haven’t exactly featured much under Lennon, with him giving them a handful of minutes here and there, and it’s about time that changed.

Burke was an unused substitute against Hibs while Weah was giving five minutes to impress as he was brought on to replace James Forrest late in the game.

It was baffling to see Lennon not make the most of having two attackers with blistering pace as his team were crying out for them.

Burke and Weah could have caused Hibs all sorts of problems if given a real opportunity to make an impact and they are very capable of giving Killie nightmares next Saturday.

So surely Lennon will let the exciting duo off the leash by actually giving them plenty of time to impress against Killie next Saturday as the Hoops are clearly crying out for players just like them based on Sunday’s display.
