Gary Lineker shared his love for West Ham attacker Michail Antonio’s goal celebration in the 1-0 win over Tottenham.

The Match of the Day host dubbed the winger’s dancing celebration cracking and even added that it was a cracking win for the Hammers with them beating Spurs.

“I mean that’s a cracking celebration and a cracking win for West Ham,” said Lineker on BBC One’s Match of the Day (23:00, Saturday April 27th).

Antonio did a thrusting dance celebration after firing the ball past Hugo Lloris after Marko Arnautovic had crossed the ball into the box.

OPINION

Antonio made the headlines for his celebration rather than his goal as it was an eye-catching gesture to say the least. The 29-year-old winger has always been one to do fantastic celebrations and after such a memorable goal against Spurs, who can blame him for busting a move. Antonio has always been a fan favourite, partly due to his infectious personality, and is starting to become quite the hero for the club as well. The 29-year-old has gradually improved this season as it has progressed, and seems to have completely shaken off any rustiness that was plaguing him after spending a lot of his 2017/18 campaign out of injured. Hopefully Antonio can continue to keep injury free as after scoring seven goals, while assisting five, in his 36 outings this season; he has proven to be an asset. If the winger can get a complete pre-season under his belt then you feel he can improve on those numbers in his 2019/20 campaign.
