Harry Winks has been ruled out of the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Man City.
He was a doubt for the game after a groin issue in training and Tottenham confirmed that he would miss out, along with Serge Aurier, Eric Dier and Harry Kane, on Tuesday afternoon.
The fitness update was posted on the official Tottenham Twitter page ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference.
Dele Alli has travelled with the squad and will be assessed ahead of the game tomorrow.

OPINION
Eagle-eyed Tottenham fans were fearing the worst when they couldn’t spot Winks boarding the plane in the official club video earlier today. And this is confirmation that Winks will miss out again in what is Tottenham’s biggest game of the season. Better news comes from Dele Alli – he has travelled but hasn’t been cleared to play yet. He’s fractured his hand and was hoping to play through the injury with a protective cast. However, we think he’s unlikely to be risked on Wednesday from the start, but could feature from the bench. We think that means Lucas Mora and Heung-min Son will start, with Christian Eriksen tucked in behind. Will the 1-0 lead be enough? It’s going to be a tough game at the Etihad, but keeping a clean sheet was absolutely key and that means a Tottenham goal has extra significance on Wednesday. Score and man City will need to win by two clear goals.
