There aren’t many Championship clubs that get on the radar of Premier league fans, but Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa has been a different kettle of fish.
Football fans have been fascinated to see what the maverick manager has done, after plaudits from greats in the game such as Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola.
However, the wheels might have come off the bus at the wrong time, with two defeats over the Easter break to teams they would have been expected to beat, and that’s led to calls from some that Leeds have bottled it.
However, that’s not the view of Leeds fans (obviously) or a bunch of Everton fans who would love to see Marcelo Bielsa’s side back in the top-flight.
One, EvertonBlues, said Leeds are “the type of team that we want to see in the premier league… Good fans, huge club”.
I don’t get why everyone is laughing at Leeds for ‘bottling’ it again, surely they’re the type of team that we want to see in the premier league instead of some of the shite in there now? Good fans, huge club.

A lot of people don’t like Leeds, I think it’s more the older ones…. But personally I know I’d love to see them back in the prem, good close away day, good fans home + away and would be good to have another big club back in the premier league.

He followed that up by saying it would be a “good, close away day, good fans home and away and would be good to have another big club back in the Premier League”.
That got a load of Everton fans discussing whether (and why) they’d like Leeds in the Premier League and although it wasn’t unanimous, a lot of fans were saying the same thing – Leeds are a big club, with good fans, and they would like to see them back in the top-flight for that reason.
