Man City have come through their two toughest tests, beating Tottenham 1-0 and Man United 2-0, making them big favourites for the title.

But there are still three games to go and Liverpool must keep their foot on the floor and hope that Pep’s men slip up.

A home game against relegated Huddersfield on Friday night should be an absolute banker and Klopp might think about resting some players with a Champions League semi-final against Barcelona the following week.

However, he should get the game won first and then look to take players off. Slipping up at Anfield on Friday would be unforgivable.

So, Roberto Firmino should start up top, with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

If anyone is to be rested it could be Salah after the attacker missed training following a trip to New York.

However, we think all three will start, with the early game on Friday giving the players plenty of rest before Wednesday.

Midfield is where it gets tough to predict Klopp, but we think he’ll go with James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, with Naby Keita and Georginio Wijnaldum dropping to the bench.

Joe Gomez is back but lacking match fitness and Joel Matip has done enough recently to keep him on the bench.

This is the starting XI we expect Klopp to put out on Friday:
