COMMENTARY
When Teemu Pukki scored to put Norwich back ahead after conceding a Ashley Williams equaliser for Stoke, Norwich fans were celebrating what could be the goal that sent them to the Premier League. What they did not expect to happen was another equaliser just minutes later courtesy of Joe Edwards from outside of the box. Jubilation turned to dismay as Canaries fans struggled to understand just how their side conceded so easily after cementing their place ahead. “Play-offs it is” was one that stood out as the away fans were left biting their nails waiting for a winner that could mean so much to the Carrow Road faithful. Norwich’ second goal was against the run of play as Stoke were repeatedly knocking on the door with Sam Clucas coming closest, blazing over after finding space in the middle of the box only 10 yards out. Norwich fans can be forgiven for their nervousness, giving that their side has drawn their last three games, and you can imagine the questions they are asking over the mental strength will be the same in the dressing room.
