OPINION
It is no shock to see some Celtic fans hitting back at Colin Hendry after he bizarrely claimed that the Hoops’ current run of title wins doesn’t count because four of them were won without Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. Hendry told the Heart and Hand podcast, as quoted by the Scottish Sun, that Celtic have only really won two in a row so far and even predicted Rangers to beat the Bhoys to a streak of 10 consecutive title victories. What planet is Hendry on? It makes no sense to devalue the achievements of a club simply because another club wasn’t there to try and stop them. Were Celtic meant to let Aberdeen or someone win the Scottish Premiership while they were waiting for Rangers to return from the dead? It makes no sense at all and Hendry deserves to have all these Celtic fans piling into him on Twitter for saying something so ridiculous.

Suppose winning the @ChampionsLeague this year is devalued since the lack of challenge from Rangers https://t.co/lLIRWezkVc
