Lots of Celtic fans appeared head over heels for goalkeeper Scott Bain after witnessing his display against Dundee. The Hoops beat Dundee 1-0 and while Bain wasn’t overly busy by any accounts, he did enough to have Hoops fans singing his praises. The 27-year-old made one save of note in the first-half and then was strong when dealing with any corner Dundee had. Yet while he didn’t have the most amazing game, it’s actually understandable why Celtic fans felt the need to drape Bain in praise. The shot-stopper has regularly shined bright this season in his 21 appearances and it’s no surprise that he has managed to established himself as first-choice. If Bain is able to keep this form going, then you feel the club won’t have concerns about who is between their sticks for many years to come. This is because when you consider that Bain is only 27-years-old, he has plenty more years of playing top-flight football left in the tank.
