OPINION
On a day when so few Celtic players achieved pass marks, one notable exception was Dedryck Boyata. The centre-back was rock solid and made sure that the below-par Hoops did not sink to a defeat in a match when their attacking play was so lacking in fluency. A goalless draw at home to Aberdeen, a team the Glasgow giants have been so successful against in recent seasons, is underwhelming but might actually come to be seen as a point gained, rather than two lost, in the final analysis. At least, new boss Neil Lennon can rely on Boyata for the next two-and-a-half months before his inevitable exit. His experience and knowhow will also help Kristoffer Ajer, the other best Celtic player against the Dons, develop during that period. The Belgium international has had some flak at various points this season, but he is delivering goods, and the supporters are thankful he did on a Saturday afternoon to forget.

Ajer and Boyata were our best players today. Nuff said.
