Arsenal won their way through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night with a brilliant, if slightly nervy, 3-0 win against Rennes.

Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored two goals and celebrated with a Black Panther mask stashed behind the goal after his second.

High up in the stands former Arsenal player and mad Gunners-fan Ian Wright was celebrating too – and Arsenal fans will love his reaction as he screams with delight and videos Aubameyang wearing the mask.

Ian Wright posted the clip on his official Instagram page from the Emirates on Thursday evening.

OPINION

It was a brilliant celebration from both Aubameyang and Ian Wright, although only one of them got booked by the referee. The excessive celebration rule has to be enforced but it seems a bit stupid when it’s not interfering with the game or inciting fans. Irrespective, it was a great night for Arsenal fans, after a shocking first leg in France, and it continues an amazing couple of weeks for English teams in Europe. All four teams are through to the Champions League quarter-finals, and both Arsenal and Chelsea are through to same stage in the Europa League. After a few years in the wilderness it looks like it’s time for the Premier League to come to the fore again. Getting past Rennes might not have been the most impressive feat of all the teams but Wrighty certainly enjoyed himself and now his side have two fronts to try and secure Champions league football from for next season. After the 2-0 win against Man United, this has been a great week for the Gunners.
