OPINION

Some pundits are saying that Rangers’ bid for the Premiership title is already over after the 1-1 draw with Hibs, but one thing’s for sure – it will be if they don’t beat Kilmarnock on Saturday.

One change will surely have to be made from the team that lost to Aberdeen in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

It was a hugely disappointing display and 26-year-old Borna Barisic will have to pay the price, with fan favourite Andy Halliday coming into the team in his place.

The other player who let his side down on Tuesday was Daniel Candeias, who was eventually hooked off for Jermain Defoe, but to no avail.

Gerrard doesn’t really have another option on the right at the moment, so Candeias will get the chance to put the record straight on Saturday.

The rest of the side should stay the same but Gerrard will demand a much improved display from his side after the 2-0 defeat to the Dons.
