Graeme Shinnie has not agreed a pre-contract move to Rangers, according to the Daily Express.
The newspaper claim they have been told by three sources – Aberdeen, Shinnie and the player’s agent – that he has not agreed terms with the Ibrox giants and a move is not on the cards.
The Express report Luton Town are preparing a move for Shinnie this summer if they succeed in earning promotion to the Championship and they would offer a deal that would trump what he could earn at Pittodrie.

The Aberdeen senior man is a proven performer, but is he what Rangers need to go to the next level? Not really. He is a solid left-back, and has also made a decent fist of a new midfield anchorman role this season, but there is a sense the Light Blues need players of greater quality than the 27-year-old. Steven Gerrard already has a lorryload of midfielders and there is no room for a new left-back unless one of Borna Borasic or Jon Flanagan is sold. Rangers fans should not be devastated at the news that a deal is not close with one of Derek McInnes’ regulars.
