Celtic must exploit the reported dispute at Nottingham Forest that has left attacker Lewis Grabban irritated by signing him in the summer.

The Daily Mail claimed that the 31-year-old forward had been spotted leaving Forest’s training ground visibility annoyed at the end of February after officials questioned the extent of his current Achilles injury.

The newspaper stated that Martin O’Neill had found a resolution to the situation that could see Grabban return to action against Aston Villa, but you feel the door may still be open to lure him away from Forest if he really was upset recently.

The attacker joined Forest in the summer and has been a revelation for them as he has scored 16 goals in 33 outings for them and is leading their scoring charts by some distance.

This is no surprise as Grabban has proven to be a goal machine at most clubs he has played for, shown by the fact he has scored 73 goals in the 171 appearances he has made in the Championship.

Given that the forward is a lethal finisher, is fantastic at linking up play due to his passing ability and due to his strength has a knack for being able to lead the line well as he finds it easy to hold up play.

It’s easy to imagine Grabban being able to score goals for fun in Scotland with Celtic and become their main man based on his previous record.

When you consider how many goals he could score than many Celtics fans would be left drooling if the 31-year-old forward arrived at the club, and given that he may be unhappy at Forest already, the Hoops have to try their luck.
