OPINION
Alfredo Morelos certainly looks the part in his Colombia kit, but the Rangers forward may have to wait a couple of years before becoming the South American nation’s poster boy, as suggested by a new image. Rangers’ Lotto Agent ‘Gregco’ shared an image of Morelos via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon which shows Morelos alongside Bayern Munich’s James Rodriguez and Monaco’s Radamel Falcao. However Morelos only makes the background of the image, in the shadow of the two Colombian stars. As some Rangers fans say, it won’t be long though before Morelos is taking Falcao’s spot in the Colombia side though. The £160,000-a-week [L’Equipe] striker is 33-years-old now and has not had a great season with relegation-threatened Moanco in Ligue 1. He has scored 13 goals in 31 total appearances for the principality club, but that pales in comparison to Morelos’ record at Rangers. The 22-year-old has scored 29 goals in 44 total outings this term, and surely Rangers fans will see him front and centre for Colombia very soon.
