OPINION
Romain Saiss has had a mixed season so far, but the same cannot be said for his display in this 1-1 draw over Chelsea on Sunday. He moved into the defence in the absence of Ryan Bennett for this match and it is safe to say that he had one of his best games in a Wolves shirt on Sunday. He marshalled the defence very well and some of the fans are no doubt relieved that he is starting to turn a corner in terms of his form, and long may it continue. When he is on form, he is one of Wolves’ best players, and you could really tell that in this hard-fought win. It is no surprise in the slightest that Nuno Espirito Santo has kept him in the starting XI recently, as he thoroughly deserves all of the playing time he has been receiving. One fan said he gave a “masterclass” against Chelsea, and they could not be more right.
