Manchester City attacking midfielder David Silva’s form has taken a dip in recent weeks and despite a slight improvement in his display against Watford, fans were still on his back. Several Man City fans claimed that the 33-year-old attacking midfielder wasn’t at the races against the Hornets despite their side winning 3-1 on Saturday with one claiming that he was nowhere near being good enough for the first team anymore. In fact that supporter claimed that Silva had lost it and it’s hard to see where he is coming from. It’s true that the attacking midfielder hasn’t been at his best in recent weeks and only showed glimpses of his talent against the Hornets, but there’s no need to write him off in such a way. Silva had scored nine and assisted 11 ahead of facing Watford this season and those stats more than imply there’s plenty left in tank for the experienced Spaniard.
