COMMENTARY
Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Watford and as a result had fans singing his praises. While one of the 24-year-old’s goals was debatable, it didn’t stop plenty of Man City fans on social media being blown away by him. One claimed that Sterling was world class while another stated he was underrated. Yet it seems everyone was in agreement that he was a talented player worthy of praise and that perhaps deserving of the Player of the Year award. It’s easy to see that over the last two seasons Sterling has come on leaps and bounds when it comes to his general play. The 24-year-old is way more clinical in front of goal than he was previously and appears to make the right decision when it comes to deciding whether to have a shot at goal or pass to his teammate. If Sterling is able to continue improving then he will be a scary prospect for the seasons to come, because as it stands, he can make a case for why he is already at world class level.
