OPINION
Arsenal player Alex Iwobi impressed in last weekend’s win against Southampton, but things seem notably different if these fans’ opinions are anything to go by. One supporter remarked how this first half performance – which saw the Gunners go 1-0 up through Aaron Ramsey – compared to that of a League Two player, indicating just how little impact Iwobi has been making in this match. He almost had Alexandre Lacazette through on goal in the fifth minute but somehow this did not materialise into anything, so he should be thankful that Ramsey saved his blushes not long later. He is capable of a lot more than he is demonstrating against Tottenham, and to be honest, the scoreline flatters the lack of contribution he has been making. The 22-year-old needs to a lot more if he is to remain on the pitch in the second half, as he was “absolutely useless” in the first half.
