Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has delivered his season ratings for Tottenham players and it makes grim reading for some of Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

Kieran Trippier, Ben Davies, Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier all get poor ratings, but Gold savages Michel Vorm saying, “The Dutchman has fallen down the pecking order to third place this season after some wobbly performances.

“It’s not been a good season for him and with his contract expiring this summer Vorm might be heading towards the Spurs exit door.”

Gold rates Vorm’s season as 3/10 and that could spell the end of the line for Vorm at Tottenham.

Vorm has made 47 appearances for Tottenham since his move from Swansea in 2014, but his time is definitely coming to an end this summer. He’s been leapfrogged by Paulo Gazzaniga in the pecking order and, at the age of 35, he’s highly unlikely to get a new contract in north London. It could be time for Tottenham to start thinking about a new keeper. Hugo Lloris has put in some brilliant performances this season, but he’s also made some massive mistakes and he’s definitely a level behind the likes of Alisson at Liverpool. Gazzaniga is a brilliant back-up but we’re not convinced he’s got what it takes to be the number one at Tottenham. It’s a shame that Vorm’s time at Spurs is going to end like this but he can still do a job for a team in the Championship. Avaialble on a free transfer is he does leave, he won’t be short of suitors.
