COMMENTARY
Everton fans will still be basking in their side’s 2-0 win over Chelsea in the last league game before the international break but even with the Toffees having a rest, the Goodison Park faithful have been celebrating on Twitter. This time their delight has come from the performance of Dominic Calvert-Lewin for England under-21s, the striker finding the back of the net on Thursday in a 1-1 draw with Poland. Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson might have done plenty of the work to set the Everton man up for a simple tap in but it was great awareness from Calvert-Lewin to hold his run and find himself in acres of space to put the ball into an empty net. Having been hit and miss this season it seems the forward is finally starting to find his feet for both club and country, so no wonder why the Everton faithful have been left drooling over his performance. They will be hoping that his confidence continues to soar after the internationals when he returns to Merseyside to lead the line under Marco Silva.

The composure from DCL to check his run..

DCL did only tap it in, but he was clever enough to hold back a little when he seen the Poland players rushing towards goal. I enjoyed his movement for the goal to be honest!
