OPINION
Leeds were brilliant against Reading on Tuesday night in a game they had to win. No one is giving an inch at the top at the moment, with Sheffield United beating Brentford with just 10 men to keep up the pressure at the top of the Championship. Those two teams meet on Saturday and Norwich can go back to the top of they win on Wednesday. They’ve jettisoned the rest of the league and almost undoubtedly it’s two from three for the automatic promotion spots. Leeds fans were blown away by almost everyone at the Madejski on Tuesday night but there was one player who wasn’t at the races – Tyler Roberts. The young attacker has come back to form recently, putting in a man-of-the-match performance in the 4-0 win against West Brom, but he was the only below-par Leeds player last night – and fans took to Twitter to let him know. Some still want to see Izzy Brown come on in the number 10 spot, but with Leeds in this form – that’s three clean sheets, three wins and eight goals scored in the last three – Marcelo Bielsa is highly unlikely to make any changes. However, Leeds fans will want Roberts to step it up on Saturday.
Here are the best reactions to Roberts’ display last night:
Not Roberts' night. Bring on Brown for the last half hour. #lufc
