COMMENTARY
Many Aston Villa fans weren’t thrilled by the prospect of Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers being set to make a move for midfielder John McGinn in the summer. The Daily Mirror reported that the Foxes boss would attempt to sign the 24-year-old midfielder after previously missing out on getting him for Celtic. However while McGinn is clearly rated by Villans fans after impressing in his 30 Championship appearances this season, supporters didn’t want the club to cut their nose off to spite their face. It seems Villans fans would be opening to McGinn leaving to join Leicester if the Premier League club stump up a lot of money. While one wanted somewhere between £50million and £60million to be offered, one Villans fans was more reasonable in comparison by only wanting £25million. Yet when you consider the Villans only spent £3million last summer, as stated by the Mirror, then it’s unlikely the Foxes will want to spend anywhere north of £20million. However if for some reason they did come in that strong, then McGinn should be ready to pack his bags.

If that happens I wouldn't be averse to taking Albrighton back as part of the deal. Plus £25mil cash as well obviously.
