OPINION
Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor was perhaps the best of a bad bunch in Scotland’s 3-0 defeat to Kazakhstan on Thursday night, but that did not stop some supporters of the international team for annihilating him for his display. The 25-year-old wore the captain’s armband in what was one of Scotland’s most embarrassing ever defeats, but Alex McLeish needs to take more blame for this than his players. Scotland just looked completely all over the place. Players didn’t seem to know their roles and there were square pegs put in round holes. McGregor needed to play a lot more advanced than he was, because he had very little impact on the game. He has been untouchable for Celtic this season, appearing in 49 games across all competitions, and he hasn’t earned them by playing as deep as he did in Kazakhstan this week. McLeish could face the sack for this humiliating result for Scotland.

I can't agree with that…McGregor is the most overrated player in Scotland

100 percent my thought. Him and Shinnie. Also all the rattlers have been invisable also. McGregor and coat hanger have done nothing.
