OPINION
It seems like none of the Sheffield Wednesday fans here have been nice to their players in the 2-1 defeat against Rotherham on Saturday. Michael Hector in particular was rather awful, and that has been thoroughly reflected in the tweets from the supporters here. One branded it the worst individual performance from him, while another said this is why he plays at Championship level and not in the Premier League. Based on this display, it is hard to imagine that any club in the top-flight would want him. He almost conceded early on but luckily the Sheffield goalkeeper was there to bail him out – if he had not, the tweets would have been far worse than they are here. He needs to seriously improve, otherwise Steve Bruce will not be afraid to offload him when the transfer window opens in the summer. Hector was just woeful on Saturday, so it is easy to see why these fans are not happy with him.
