Darren Moore is predicted to make three changes to West Brom’s starting line-up ahead of their huge promotion showdown against Sheffield United at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

Dwight Gayle will more than likely return to the side after his two-game ban was completed when Albion won 3-2 against QPR on Tuesday night. That means that Jefferson Montero could return to the bench.

Gareth Barry and Rekeem Harper could also make their way back into Moore’s starting line-up after being rested for the midweek trip to Loftus Road.

Midfielder Stefan Johansen could be axed to make way for Barry while Sam Field is predicted to be the player to drop out for in-form Harper.

Sam Johnstone is expected to start in goals behind an unchanged back-four of Mason Holgate, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs.

Jake Livermore, who scored the stoppage time winner at QPR on Tuesday, is likely to start in the holding midfield position with Barry and Harper just ahead of him to complete the central trio.

Albion’s front-three is likely to comprise of Jacob Murphy, Jay Rodriguez and Gayle.

Montero scored in the win against QPR but he was more than likely only starting because of Gayle’s suspension and Hal Robson-Kanu’s injury.

Matt Phillips made his first appearance since New Year’s Day when he came off the bench at Loftus Road, but it may still be too soon for him to get into the starting line-up.

West Brom can move above Sheffield United if they beat Chris Wilder’s side this weekend.

As it stands, Albion are one point behind the Blades, who sit second in the Championship standings.
