OPINION
Harvey Barnes will forever have a place in the hearts of West Brom fans after a fantastic few months on loan in the Black Country this season. He dazzled in the Championship, scoring nine goals in 26 league outings for the Baggies before he was recalled by Leicester earlier than scheduled in the January transfer window. Barnes, 21, appears to still be a Baggie at heart having reacted to the club’s 2-0 win against rivals Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon. It was a simple tweet with a blue heart in response to the result at Villa Park, but it was enough to have a number of West Brom fans thrilled on Twitter. Barnes still cares about West Brom and West Brom still cares about Barnes. Even Albion’s official Twitter account was among those replying to the England Under-21 international. Hopefully Barnes can reach his potential at Leicester now he has started to play regularly in their first team.
