COMMENTARY
Wolves defeated Bristol City 1-0 in the FA Cup on Sunday and many supporters of Nuno Santo’s side knew who they wanted to praise in particular for their part in the club’s latest victory. The player in question was Joao Moutinho who apparently some Wolves fans are still stunned over the fact he plays for their club. The 32-year-old midfielder had a large number of Wolves fan purring throughout the game due to him looking a level above his opponent. It’s no surprise that Moutinho wowed against Bristol City as giving his CV and his form this season, it would have been more of a shock if he had struggled. The midfielder is a classy player and just as one Wolves fan stated below, he makes football look ridiculously simple. If you’re able to do that, then normally that is a sign that you’re a fantastic player. With Santo’s team progressing in the FA Cup after beating Bristol City, Moutinho could have an important part to play in Wolves lifting a trophy this season.
