West Brom could cause an upset against Brighton in the FA Cup fourth round on Wednesday night if Darren Moore takes the bold decision to axe senior duo Sam Johnstone and Hal Robson-Kanu from his starting line-up.

Johnstone and Robson-Kanu have both been in woeful form lately and neither of them deserve a spot on the teamsheet to face off against Brighton at The Hawthorns this week.

It is important that Moore names a team that is not only capable of winning against the Seagulls, but also sees him rest some of the players who could do with a night off, with one eye on the important Championship clash against Stoke on Saturday.

That is why Jonathan Bond should be handed back his spot in goals after an impressive display on the south coast last month that helped earn the replay against Chris Hughton’s side.

In defence, Mason Holgate should keep his spot at right-back but Kyle Bartley, Tosin Adarabioyo and Conor Townsend must return so that Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs can be rested.

Jack Livermore should start in the midfield with him not starting a game since January 1 alongside Sam Field and Wes Hoolahan.

Kyle Edwards and Jonathan Leko could do with the game-time to aid their developments, so it would be wise to start them on either side of Jay Rodriguez in the attack, with the senior striker being one of the most fit players in the Baggies squad this season.
