There’s no doubt that Rangers are a different side with Alfredo Morelos in it. He scored four goals last night in Rangers’ 5-0 win against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night in the cup. However, BBC Sportscene pundit Tam McManus is convinced that he will be leaving in the summer. After the game he made the claim on his personal Twitter page saying, “How much does Alfredo Morelos go for in the summer? And he will go IMO”. That stirred up a hornet’s nest, with Celtic fans flocking onto Twitter to deliver their verdict. One Celtic fan, retweeted by McManus, said he would leave for between £3-£5million, which is a lot less than the Rangers fans would want. And it was a lot less than McManus thinks as he posted another Twitter message later saying “I wouldn’t think Rangers would or should entertain anything under 10m now”. If Morelos does go, Rangers will have a real job replacing the man who has snow scored 23 goals in 38 games this season. However, as more than one Celtic fan pointed out, Morelos still hasn’t scored against Celtic.
