OPINION
When Glen Kamara joined Rangers from Dundee in January, you would not have been crazy for thinking that he would struggle to get into Steven Gerrard’s starting line-up, but the midfielder has taken to life at Ibrox like a duck to water so far. Many Gers fans were blown away by the Finland international for his performance in the 5-0 win against Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Wednesday night, and you can understand why. He seemed to cover every single blade of grass on the pitch as he dictated the game against Steve Clarke’s men, who are usually a thorn in the side of the Light Blues. Kamara has not played a lot of football lately either and was not exactly amazing in the 0-0 draw with St Johnstone at the weekend, so his masterclass in the Scottish Cup showdown on Wednesday was a bit of a surprise. That’s good news for Rangers and Gerrard though, who now has another midfielder he needs to try and work into his regular gameplan.

Btw Kamara outstanding.
Gets the ball back and can actually find a team mate, keeping us ticking in midfield.

I had no idea Glenn Kamara even existed before we signed but in two games he’s already shown what a class player he is
