OPINION
Tom Huddlestone did not have a not to remember in Derby County’s 1-0 defeat to Millwall at Pride Park on Wednesday night, so it is no surprise at all to see a section of the Rams support annihilating the former England international. Huddlestone has been in and out of Frank Lampard’s starting line-up lately and that may be a factor in the 32-year-old’s poor outing this week. He is not getting any younger and Lampard’s rotation of the midfield is likely to either be due to Huddlestone struggling to play more than one game a week. Whatever the reason behind it is, it cannot help the ex-Tottenham man, who would surely play better if he was starting every week. Lampard should not change his plans though just to suit one player, but Huddlestone’s sub-par outing against Millwall could be on the mind of the Rams boss before the clash against Nottingham Forest next Monday. That is a massive game for Derby, especially as they have a trip to Aston Villa several days later.

I think huddz needs to come off and let Bradley Johnson on. He's not having the best game. #DCFC

Game plan failing because of Huddlestone for me too. Holmes Wilson/Cole hugging touchline in advanced positions and he's supposed to be picking them out. His passing has been dreadful. Bryson isn't in there to create so with Hudds missing we've nothing through middle.
