Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to recall powerhouse attacker Adama Traore for Tuesday’s game against Huddersfield Town.

Diogo Jota returned from injury in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, but with the Huddersfield clash in such close proximity Nuno likely won’t risk him at the John Smith’s Stadium.

That looks set to be the manager’s only change for a game in which the visitors will be heavily favoured to win. The team have no fresh injury problems to worry about, either.

Nuno will be looking for a reaction from his players after failing to taste victory against the Cherries, and they will be favourites to come out on top in the midweek clash.

Rui Patricio is the undisputed number one between the sticks and that’s unlikely to change on Tuesday, he will almost certainly start. Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady and Willy Boly are as close to nailed on starters as you’ll find in the Premier League and can all expect to start at centre back.

Matt Doherty and Jonny Castro Otto have been magnificent this season and will surely start yet again in the wing back roles that they’ve made their own.

In central midfield, Leander Dendoncker has come into the team of late and formed a very effective partnership with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho. All three players will likely start here.

Up top, as mentioned Traore looks set to replace Jota, while Raul Jimenez will almost certainly continue to lead the line after his strike on Saturday.
