COMMENTARY
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino might have put most of his side’s stars on display against Leicester City but it was one of the Foxes’ aces who caught the attention of the north London faithful. Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans might have only arrived at the King Power Stadium on loan over the January window but his performance against Spurs had the home fans at Wembley urging their side to snap him up for themselves. He dominated another pair of young midfielders in the shape of Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks and considering that another Belgian ace has just left north London in the shape of Mousa Dembele, the fans make a good point. He might not have the same physical attributes as his fellow countryman but he is clearly not afraid of putting himself around and was on the end of one or two tough challenges from the Spurs stars. He could be a future star in the Premier League if this performance is anything to go by and Tottenham may well be ruing the fact they missed out on his capture in the January window. Will the chance to snap him up come around in the summer? The Spurs fans will certainly be hoping so.
