Chelsea fans are starting to rival their Arsenal counterparts during the latter periods of the Wenger era, and one is hating the prospect of playing Tottenham next week.
You can see why. Their season is disintegrating, with manager Maurizio Sarri publicly criticisng the players and a strong of results going agains them.
In the past few weeks they’ve been beaten by Bournemouth 4-0 and by Man City 6-0, and they were knocked out of the FA Cup this week at Stamford Bridge by Man United in a 2-0 loss.
In a video on 100% Chelsea (which we’re not embedding as the language is on the industrial side, warning it’s NSFW) one fan says he’s hating the prospect of coming up against first Man City (on his birthday weekend!) and then Tottenham.
He says he’d love a win against City in the League Cup final but knows it isn’t going to happen.
He goes onto say that the game he is really “petrified” of is the Spurs game a week today.
“But the one I’m really petrified about is Spurs, here at Chelsea on the 27th of February,” he goes on to say.
“Wednesday night, it will be the main game on telly and we could get our a**** handed to us.
“We hadn’t lost to Spurs in what was it? 26 years? Last year they did it for the first time. Now they’re going to do it twice in two seasons.
“They’ll probably have Kane back. We could be looking at a similar sort of game… What’s the point?”
As you can imagine, Tottenham fans are absolutely loving this and flocked onto twitter to respond.
