COMMENTARY
Many Everton fans on social media were left horrified after Danny Murphy claimed that Jose Mourinho could one day sit in the hot seat at the Goodison Park. The BBC pundit claimed that the former Manchester United boss could one day manage the Toffees especially if the club were looking to compete at the top end of the Premier League. Murphy made the remarks on talkSPORT, as transcribed by their website, that Mourinho could one day down the line arriving Goodison Park and highlighted the manager’s agent as well as players contacts. While the pundit seem to think it could be a good idea to take Everton in the right direction, several Toffees were rightly against the idea. While Mourinho has had success in the past, the Toffees should be looking for a stable presence to sit in the dugout, which could even be Marco Silva, as there has been too much unsettling change at the club in recent times.
