OPINION
Leeds United are closing in on the signing of Swansea City speedster Daniel James and fans are starting to get very excited. The latest update from the Yorkshire Evening Post is that United are increasingly confident of wrapping up the signing of the Wales international, 21, even though they have yet to agree a fee with their Championship rivals. Leeds want the deal done before they take on Rotherham in Saturday’s fixture, and the YEP state their is a “strong chance” the deal will now be done. Leeds supporters took a keen interest in James’ performance for Swansea in their televised encounter against Sheffield United on Saturday evening. He did not start the match but made a big impact as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 triumph for Graham Potter’s side. United supporters believe the Welshman can add pace and drive on the flank for their team, which is increasingly looking in need of reinforcements.

He did look like a decent player when he came on for the second half. Plenty of pace in the lad
