COMMENTARY
Many Rangers fans were keen on a reunion with current Swansea City winger Barrie McKay after he remarked on how he would feel about a return to Ibrox. The 24-year-old has made 19 appearances for the Swansea this season but openly admitted he’d jump at the chance to join the Gers in the future if one came along. McKay told the Scottish Sun he would “like” to rejoin Rangers again at some point in his career as he felt he had “unfinished business.” These remarks were welcomed by a section of Gers fans as some even claimed they’d take him in a heartbeat in order to show just how eager they were. McKay made 140 appearances for the Gers before being sold to Nottingham Forest in July 2017 and it seems that despite playing an awful lot for the Scottish giants, he still feels he could accomplish more with them. However while many Gers fans are keen for the reunion to happen in the near future, it’s unlikely Swansea City are going part company with McKay just yet.
