If there was any doubting that Manchester City fans demand perfection from their players every single week then just look at the way they have torn Kyle Walker to pieces against Wolves. Was the full back as bad as these lot have suggested? Not in the slightest. Yes, he might have made an slight error or two but he kept the visitors at bay at the Etihad and was a constant thorn in their side down the other end of the pitch. However with a tense title race at the top of the Premier League table it is clear that the supporters want everyone in sky blue to be performing at their very best week in, week out. Will those demands end up putting too much pressure on the players and cause unforced errors from their stars? You would hope that these Manchester City stars are made of sterner stuff than to be affected by what is said about them on social media but the fans might want to consider being a little kinder to their heroes or face the disappointment of seeing them struggle with the weight on their shoulders. Walker did not perform too badly against Wolves and should be satisfied with that.
