Tottenham fans were left fuming on social media after Belgian outlet HLN reported an update on Spurs’ pursuit of AS Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans. The newspaper shared that while Spurs were informed about the possibility of signing the 21-year-old, Mauricio Pochettino didn’t approve of the signing as he believed the player wouldn’t fit his style of play. This update caused many Tottenham fans to vent their frustrations on social media with one even accusing Pochettino of lying through his teeth whenever he spoke about transfers. Others were just angrily baffled why Pochettino wouldn’t believe that a player as talented as Tielemans would fit in at the club and proceeded to question past signings that the Spurs manager must have approved. While Pochettino is clearly loved by a lot of fans, given that the January transfer window isn’t going like fans want, it seems even he will have to bare their wrath if deals don’t get done. However there is still time left in the window, so perhaps Pochettino is about to pull a rabbit out a hat.

You can tell whenever he is asked about transfers he is lieing through his teeth…. His eyes are all over the place body language says it all… What he means is he wants qaulity we are different to five years ago give him a leather lazy boy recliner rather than cheap tat!!!
