COMMENTARY
They say that football fans are never satisfied and that certainly seems to be the case at Tottenham on a night where they play Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup. Many of the Lilywhite faithful have turned to Twitter to fume over Mauricio Pochettino’s decision not to include Troy Parrott among the senior squad for the clash against the relative minnows, the 16-year-old being one of the highest rated talents at the north London outfit. Yes, Pochettino was obviously going to rotate his squad and yes, Parrott, with his impressive 12 goals in 18 appearances in the youth sides this season, is looking like a real hot prospect but at the same time, he cannot be rushed into things. His time will come and for now there are other young talents looking to make their mark on the senior side. With Pochettino at the helm, the future looks bright for these future stars – Parrott included.
This is Futbol has gathered a selection of the supporters’ tweets:

Troy Parrott not even on the bench. ? What’s up with this @WindyCOYS?!? Given who we are playing, the fixture congestion we have, &!minutes he’s getting in the academy I thought this would be his chance to make a sub appearance! @vkon1 @ztranche @SimonDodsworth1 @HotspurAmerica https://t.co/mHlSjLLewA
