COMMENTARY
Outspoken pundit Rodney Marsh has never been one to shy away from confrontation or a controversial opinion but it seems he frustrated a number of Tottenham fans on Sunday. The 74-year-old previously took to his Twitter account to slam Spurs for bringing on Harry Kane during their very comfortable victory over Tranmere as he believed it was a classless action. However instead of leaving his opinion alone and just acknowledging that Spurs fans didn’t agree with his assessment, Marsh appeared to want to keep the discussion going after Man City defeated Rotherham 7-0 on Sunday. The pundit opted to conduct a poll about Man City asking how everyone would have felt if Sergio Aguero had been brought on when his side were 7-0 up and many Spurs fans saw this as him continue to take a sly dig at their club. This caused several of them to tear into the pundit for asking such a question, with several begging him just to let the matter drop as he clearly was in the wrong.
>If Aguero was on the bench & Guardiola would have put him in for last 15 mins & made it 8-0, so Rotherham players could say they played against him.
