beIN SPORTS pundit Andy Gray has warned Tottenham Hotspur that their top four chances could be in serious jeopardy.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were made to work hard by struggling Fulham at Craven Cottage, with a last-ditch Harry Winks winner securing a 2-1 victory on Sunday.

And Gray believes they need to improve to secure Champions League football.

“They are suddenly, from a team who we were giving a top four spot three weeks ago, they might not get that now,” he told beIN SPORTS before the game on Sunday.

“By the time Harry’s [Kane] back, Son’s back, they might be below Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea, not above them,” he finished.

You still have to very much favour Tottenham to get a top four spot ahead of United, Arsenal and Chelsea. They are seven points ahead of Arsenal in fifth and have a superior starting eleven – when everyone’s fully fit – to any of the other three teams. The problem, of course, is that Pochettino doesn’t have everyone available to him at this moment in time. Harry Kane is currently out injured which is a crushing blow, while Moussa Sissoko missed Sunday’s game as well. Add to that Son Heung-min’s absence due to international duty and the knock picked up by Dele Alli against Fulham and you have a recipe for disaster. Whether Spurs will be able to withstand that and secure Champions League football for next season or not remains to be seen, but they showed the character on Sunday to suggest that they can. There will be plenty of fingers crossed in North London that that proves to be the case.
