OPINION
Manchester United may have beat Newcastle 2-0 on Wednesday night, but many fans are not happy with the performance of captain Antonio Valencia at right-back. The Ecuador international returned to the fold for the first time since September for the Red Devils after falling out of favour under former boss Jose Mourinho. He did however show signs of rust against the Magpies in a poor display on the right flank, and many United fans have let their feelings be known on Twitter. With Valencia approaching the end of his deal at Old Trafford, it looks as though many supporters are keen on seeing him leave the club as soon as possible, or at least for him to have played his last game for the club in the meantime. While this assessment may seem harsh, it does look as though the 33-year-old’s days at the club are numbered, especially after a performance like that.

Antonio Valencia may as well not be playing.

This might be the end for Valencia, Mata is moving in the centre and you need Valencia to be making runs on the right wing which he isn’t doing enough. In contrast, Dalot was constantly bombing down that wing #Mufc
