Everton have a lot of things going for them under Marco Silva this season despite mixed results and are just desperately lacking that attacking spark in order to progress.

However with the right player added to their squad then the Toffees will soar as it will be like the final puzzle piece falling into place.

While there is a tremendous amount of players around that could solve the Toffees’ need to bolster their options, it seems the Toffees have the correct one on their radar in the form of Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees along with fellow Premier League teams Liverpool and Tottenham are in pursuit of the exciting winger and given the effect he could have on Silva’s team, Everton must make sure they get his signature.

As the national newspaper reveals, Groeneveld may be injured currently but he has already shown his tremendous talents this season.

The 21-year-old dazzler has scored five goals, while assisting four, in the 15 outings he has made this season and some of his strikes at goal have been worthy of highlight reels.

Groeneveld is a skilful pacey winger who could burst down the flank for the Toffees and provide the cutting edge in games that they seem to lack in a lot of matches this season.

The dazzler is the type of player who can change a game in his side’s favour at the drop of a hat and with him to call upon, Silva would be laughing.

The only issue regarding Groeneveld is that given his sublime talents, the Toffees will really have to work hard to get his services ahead of others and probably should act sooner rather than later.

However the Toffees have the tools to win the race and if they’re serious about soaring up the Premier League and staying competing at the top-end, Groeneveld is a player they need in their ranks.
